INIVTATION AND WELCOME LETTER             

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We are honored that our Savior has graced HBC with another opportunity to host our 90th Deliverance Workshop this July.  Over the years, numerous folks have come and received real lasting help against the demonic forces hell bent on our total destruction.  For the Hegewisch Baptist Church (HBC), this is a time for us to reach out and give back to those seeking help, the blessing we have all received from being in this wonderful ministry.

As the proverbial frog in the frying pan, so goes the Church of Jesus Christ into apostasy.  Mention the lateness of the hour to most Christians and you will hear, so what.  Bring up the darkness of the day and the response is, who cares. Talk about how the church mixes the “holy with the profane”, and get ready to be shunned.  Even worse, talk to so called believers about demonic influence (demons) in their lives and get ready to run for the hills.  If there was ever a day when the infamous words of Isaiah are appropriate, it’s today.  Isa 59:14  And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.  Yes, truth has fallen in the streets and has very few friends in the church.  Are you a friend to God’s truth?

In 2Cor 2:11, the Apostle Paul wrote that he was not ignorant of Satan’s devices.  However, that is a statement that a big part of the body of Christ can’t say today.  In fact, most of the leadership in the church today is willing ignorant of Satan, his demons and his Satanic wiles.  The proof of that statement is resounding from the silence of the pulpits.  Little to no warning is preached today about error, false doctrines or noise, which is passed off as worship in the church.  God forbid!

The reason most believers won’t take a stand is because they listen to the enemy instead of the Holy Spirit.  There is little to no discernment and even less discretion operating in the church.   So, let me ask, “how’s Jesus in your life today”?  If things aren’t going that well for you, if you are experiencing more defeat than victory, why don’t you come to our July Conference and see if Satan has crept into your life unaware.  You will not find the time to do this.  YOU MUST MAKE THE TIME!  If nothing else, please pray about it.  We are here to love and serve you.  Check us out and see what Christ can do in your life when you are free from demonic influence.

The Hegewisch Baptist Church workshops are designed to teach the fundamentals of the Deliverance Ministry while also offering time for participants to receive one on one deliverance prayer.  Teaching people about Spiritual Warfare and Deliverance and then not offering a time to pray is likened to, ”being doers of the Word and not Hearers only.”  

The Hegewisch Baptist Church holds four (4) Deliverance Workshops annually. One of these Workshops is a Men’s Leadership Conference held in January of each year. The Men’s Conference is designed to keep the Men together in a relaxed atmosphere of fellowship and education concerning the Deliverance Ministry. HBC caters in the evening meals on Friday and Saturday to help keep the fellowship as intimate as possible.

Our three regular Workshops are held in April, July and October each year.  These are Family Workshops and all are welcome to attend.

Dear Brothers and Friends in Christ:

Let’s be frank, Satan and his henchmen (demons) have made tremendous inroads into the church and the body of Christ.  Not only is the Word of God being watered down, but the Word is also being changed to say something that the scripture isn’t saying.  These slick Snake Oil salesmen are running around as if they have some kind of special hotline with God.  They masquerade themselves teaching things they know not.  In reality, Satan is working behind these doctrines of devils teachings us how to curse ourselves just as Balaam taught Balak to do the same. 

There is one so-called Christian leader who used fifteen different translations and/or paraphrases of the bible to write his very popular book.  By doing so, he “changed the Word of God into a lie” and made the Word say what he wanted it to say, not what the Word was actually saying.  This mindset is being promoted in many institutions (churches) today.  There are other Charlatans and Christian Carnival Barkers that are teaching damnable (cursed) heresies and doctrines of devils; such as “Jesus Died Spiritually”.  The teachers in the Word Faith(less) movement proclaim this teaching as “The Gospel Truth”.  However, to believe that Jesus died Spiritually is to deny the blood sacrifice.  On The Cross, Jesus said, “it was finished” i.e. Jesus paid for our sins by the shedding of his blood.  But the Word Faith(less) leaders say that after the cross, Jesus had to go into the pit of hell to be “kicked around by the devil and his demons” for three days and nights. They go on to say that because Jesus won this fight he (Jesus) became born again at that time.  So, it was not Calvary’s victory that redeemed us from our sins, but Satan’s so-called defeat in hell.  Brothers, there is no bible to back this up, yet thousands embrace these erroneous doctrines and miss out on real Salvation.  Make no mistake, this is rank heresy, error and false doctrine.  If we believe this false teaching we effectively deny the blood sacrifice, (Calvary and Calvary alone) and we are still in our sins!!!  2Corinthians 11:13-15 calls those that teach this, “Satan’s ministers of righteousness”.  How many thousands are following these heretics?  I’m afraid that many of them are going to slide to hell from their church pews.  God forbid!  Lord Jesus help us! 

These doctrines of demons and those that are in cahoots with Satan must be exposed.  One of the best ways to do this is to submit ourselves for deliverance.  Get cleaned up and then join in battle against the wiles of the devil. The fight is on brothers; This epic battle of the ages isn’t going to be won by the church choir nor by the elder or deacon boards.  God is looking for men (us) to go forth with the real Word Of God and take the fight to Satan. Learn how to speak back to the devil through the Word Of God. Learn how to pray real Spiritual Warfare.  If we are faithful to do our part, God will be faithful to His Word and give us victory over the Adversary.  Maybe there is a need in your life to have your soul, mind-will-emotions restored (Psa 23:3). I know that I need mine restored… how bout you?  The days are growing darker and darker and the hour is very late.  Come join us on January 24-27 for GREAT fellowship, solid bible teaching and for many victories to be won in Jesus name.  We will not only be teaching the correct principles of Deliverance and Spiritual Warfare but we will also be praying deliverance every evening during the Conference. Dear Brothers and Sisters,

I would like to invite you to our 85th Workshop this October.  The Lord has provided another opportunity for us to fellowship together, get deliverance and learn of Jesus so that we can find deliverance and rest for our souls.  Our Workshops are designed to maximize the teachings of Spiritual Warfare while adhering to the truth of God’s Word. The balance of deliverance and giving Jesus the preeminence in all things allows Christ easy access into our lives.   Thus, adding grace to grace as God perfects his saints (us).

Why is the Deliverance Ministry and the casting out of demons so important?  Because IT IS the remedy God gave unto us to get evil spirits out of our lives.  Mark 16:17 tells us that one of the signs that follow those that believe is that they shall cast out devils.  Where is this being applied in the churches today?  The Word of God teaches us that Satan can cause physical maladies and mental illness.  In addition to that, Scripture tells us that Satan works 24/7 to resist, deceive, hinder and make war on the saints.  This is what the bible teaches.  Why are the churches so silent about the wiles of the devil?

Jesus chastised the religious leaders of his day because they could discern the signs in the sky but not the signs of the times.  Have you noticed the signs of the times brothers and sisters?  Have you been able to discern the level of spiritual oppression that Satan and his demons are perpetrating upon mankind?  Maybe even upon your own life!  He is moving with lightning speed to divide and conquer us and our families.  He is the master of deception and has gained great inroads into the lives of many believers.

Divorce, alcohol, drugs, bitterness, anger, pride, envy and self-hatred are just a few wiles of the devil.  Satan has something to offend everyone.  Are any of these wiles affecting your life?  Have you given place to the devil (Eph 4:27)?  Has Satan gotten an advantage over you because of Unforgivness (2Cor 2:11)?   The real Deliverance Ministry is one missing element of the Great Commission, or, should I say the Great Omission!
 
Brothers and Sisters, we all need to start Warring a good Warfare.  It is about time we take the fight back to the devil.  As his attacks come against us, let’s attack him back.  If we wait for the church leadership to step up to the front and lead the battle, don’t bother.  Too many of the so called leaders of today are dumb dogs that won’t bark (Isa 56:10).  Or, some of the leaders are just plain afraid to get involved in such a controversial ministry. 

I sure hope you’re not afraid to get involved.  God’s people are hurting and are not able to find real lasting help for their lives in many of the churches which they belong.

Deliverance is not the whole answer, but it is an important part of that answer.  I hope you will come and join us this October and learn how to take the battle back to Satan.  It can be a lot of fun.  In addition, seeing a changed life is one of the best blessings we can enjoy.

In the 83 prior Workshops here at HBC, we have never asked our guest speakers to speak on a specific theme.  Yet, in every one of those prior Workshops Jesus has woven the messages together giving us a made to order Conference.  It is a real faith builder to have the Lord confirm our Workshops time and time again.

If you turn the flyer over and look at the titles you will see a common thread in this Conference too.  It seems to be, Contending for the Faith and Perfecting the Saints.  PTL!

Have you heard of the “Emerging Church”?  Are you familiar with the multitude of organizations (churches) that are casting out demons, prophesying, and doing MANY wonderful works in the name of Jesus?  Yet at the same time they preach a different Gospel, they proclaim another Jesus and teach error and false doctrine?  How can this be of the Lord?  Can a bitter tree produce sweet waters?  While their brand of Christianity looks and sounds like the real deal,  upon closer examination, we have the tail wagging the dog.  The blessings are being sought but not the blesser (Jesus Chrrist).  The Church of Jesus Christ has gotten pretty peculiar lately.
 
Brothers and Sisters, the Emerging Church has already emerged.  It is here amongst us even as you read this flyer.  It is in reality the New Age Church!  It is a church and/or organization that teaches wonderful things.  It is a church that teaches good things.  It is a church that teaches how to be nice to each other.  How to have good morals and be good  family members… ALL WITHOUT JESUS CHRIST!  Oh sure, Jesus is mentioned in these teachings, however he is not pointed to, adhered to nor trusted.  THOUSANDS ARE BEING TAUGHT WHAT TO BELIEVE, NOT WHO TO BELIEVE.  Paul told Timothy in 2Tim 1:12b…“for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.”

For the last 30-50 years, the errors of Gnosticism have been raising their ugly heads in the church again.  Demons and doctrines of demons have permeated the church from top to bottom.  Now we have a happy-go-lucky church which follows feelings and emotions and not the Word of God.  As long as it sounds good, or looks good, it must be of the Lord.  This IS one of Satan’s greatest coups yet.  He has either stuffed the church with unsaved people or he has lulled the multitudes to sleep as he works his wiles right under our noses.

The sad fact to this tragic truth is that some of these same demons reside in us when left unchecked.  As fire begets fire, demons unchecked beget more demons.  Get your demons cast out in Jesus name.  Don’t allow them residence in your life anymore (Eph 4:27)!

I sure hope you can visit with us this July.  As the song says, “It will be worth it all”!

I would like to thank the Lord for the deliverance that has been going on in my life.  Where I used to live, I had some sort of reputation that I had built up for myself; a not so good reputation.  It got to the point where I probably knew a little more than half of the folks in my city and was associated with them.  And because of that, I was never at home for my wife and my children.  I had a job, but the longest job I ever worked was probably only 16 months and that was only one job at one time.  I got a spirit of paranoia out there a while for maybe a year.  I didn’t know who was going to hurt me or if I was going to make it home that day or that night.  The Lord opened my eyes and told me that I needed to come here for deliverance.  My wife brought me to HBC because I was still fighting against the spirits that were trying to keep me associated with these people that I was involved with.   I just thank the Lord for being here and bringing me here before the devil took me away before my time and for getting me involved in such a powerful ministry.

I just want to thank Paul for his sermon yesterday and his testimony because when I first started out I was having questions about what was going on. I was taken into a coven of witches by a doctor and I didn’t understand what to do about it.  A friend of my mother’s said, “Well, look at Jesus when he was tempted 40 days in the desert.  He answered Satan with scripture.”  Through all of the deliverance I have received, I found all of the things that I needed to disconnect myself from these people. I thank God that the preacher mentioned 1John 1:9. It made me realize that there is always a scripture to answer the lies of the devil with.  The devil may taunt you but we must remember that God is on your our side.

I just want to praise the Lord for His healing, restoration and for His tender mercy. When I was coming back to the church yesterday I didn’t want to tell my wife I was having pain and wasn’t feeling well.  My wife had gotten out of the car prior to me coming in to the church, and I just couldn’t make it back to sit on the bench.  She asked me what was wrong. She asked, “Are you having a heart attack?”  I said, “Well, I’m not sure.”  And she said, “Well, get up and go get one of the brothers to pray for you.”  So I got Bob and he prayed against heart attack and a number of other things and I recovered.  I recovered right here in the church.  I want to give the Lord all of the praise, glory and honor because He said, “Come to the elders.  Lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.”  Thank you Jesus.

Thursday night someone prayed for me because I had a lot of bitterness, anger and felt very wounded.  After getting deliverance, it left and when I went home my legs felt much better and for the first time I felt that the Lord really loved me.

I have been coming here for a little over 14 years. I was born and raised in Satanism and the Lord saved me out of it.  Thank you Jesus.  I’ve had a lot of deliverances and the Lord has set me free completely after many years of mind control. Breaking the rituals and breaking the soul ties was very important.  God has given me so much joy, love and peace.  I listen to the sermons on tapes of Pastor Worley, Pastor Thierer, Jay Peterson, and all of the speakers here at HBC.  They are so wonderful.  I get the tapes and I listen to them and I ask the Lord to continually restore my soul.  I’ve had such a bad time with self hatred.  I’ve never been able to acknowledged that “I” was God’s creation and that I was worth looking at and saying “I am beautiful” and “I am worthy because Christ made me worthy.”  God is restoring me.  I really have new depths of His love which keep touching different parts of me and I thank Him all the time for it.  I thank God for Pastor Thierer and for all of the people in this congregation that are faithful and that are intercessors.

My daughter came home from New York City last summer after going through a Satanic attack.  However, what Satan meant for evil the Lord has used for good.  I have a strong generational history of illegitimacy, divorce and so on.  I had a lot of deliverance from many demons this weekend and my daughter has to.  It is just awesome and I praise Jesus for it.

I just thank the Lord for being here.  You don’t know how you have blessed my life.  I go to sleep with your tapes every night listening to the sermons.  They are really a blessing to me.  I have just been looking for Truth.  When I heard the tapes I said, “This is truth.  I’ve got to go to this church.”  I said, “Lord, you have got to open the door for us to come here.”  I have been having headaches.  I don’t know where they were coming from.  I went to the doctors and they did MRI’s and they did all kinds of tests.  They said everything is okay.  There is nothing wrong with me.  So I came and Cathi prayed with me on a Thursday night.  I had shared with her about the headaches.  She prayed with me and I have not had the headaches since I have been here.  They gave me these pills to bring with me.  They told me to take the pills.  They said, “We don’t know what it is, but just take these pills for your headache.”  I don’t like taking medication, but I brought them here anyway.  I don’t have to use them, praise God.  I got free of a lot of things that I didn’t know was there.  I didn’t realize how much deliverance I needed and I got free last night.  I just praise God.  I just thank the Lord.  I have so much peace and joy and happiness. I just thank the Lord for this ministry and I’ll support it as long as I’m on this earth.  I thank the Lord for that.

I, too, just give the Lord praise for being here.  We took our children to Columbus, Ohio this week and on the way down there we just listened to HBC tapes all the way there and all the way back.  My husband kept playing them over and over again.  I said, “Well Lord, I’m starting to get tired of hearing this.  I don’t want to hear anymore.”  Just then I realized that wasn’t me, so I just told the demons, “If you don’t want to hear it you can loose me, and let me go.”  So when we got here I knew that the Lord was going to do something in us.  I got delivered from many hurts.  I just didn’t know how tormented I really was.  I walked around with what felt like a hole in my heart and I was hurting all over. I was in agony and pain.  I thank the Lord for setting me free.

I want to thank God for my deliverance. It has been a while since I’ve been here.  My husband was able to come to the Men’s Workshop and I thank the Lord for that. I was listening to the sister who said that she was angry and she broke agreement with the spirit of anger. So I said, “God that is what I need to do. I need to start breaking agreement with the spirits of anger.” During the Mass Deliverance last night, God reminded me how He was there to deliver me if I wanted it.  The Lord said to me, “Call on ME; I am the God who healeth thee.”  So I thank God for my deliverance and for everything that has happened, and for your prayers.  I just thank God for this church.  We came to this church for the first time in 1994.  I had read Pastor Worley’s books long before we ever even came here. We started coming here and my husband was telling me that he doesn’t have any demons.  I said, “Okay.”  He kept on going for prayer even though he said he didn’t have any.  Then when he started to manifest and get deliverance, he realized that this is really from God.  We’ve been members of this church ever since.  We love the Lord. We love everybody here.  We pray for you guys and please continue to pray for us.

I’d like to praise God for my salvation, for my new life and also for much answered prayer in my life.  One of the prayer requests that we have been lifting up here at the church is that the Lord provide people with the ability, desire, finances and direction so that they can come to the workshop.  The Lord has provided that for those that He wanted here.  It’s a blessing to see the people. The church here, like Mike has said so many times, is just an oasis that the Lord has provided for God’s people to come and refresh themselves. It’s such a blessing to be in a House where like-minded people believe and everyone loves the Lord.  Yes, we all have our differences but we are together 100% in the Lord.  That is such a blessing to us.  The other thing is the breakfast that was held yesterday morning.  Again, it’s a blessing to see the people come in need, and the Lord answer their prayers and then they take back this information and give it to their loved ones and it’s just a perpetual ball rolling.  I want to thank the men of this church and Pastor Mike for continuing to stand for the Lord.

I just want to thank the Lord for my salvation for which I am still in awe of after so many years.  I seem to go through that every single day.  Every single day, I look at myself in the mirror and I’m like, “You’re saved.”  It’s just like it’s literally unbelievable that the God who spoke this world into being would communicate with me.  He’s always here for me.  I find myself coming ack time and time again to HBC. It’s the best thing to happen to me since my salvation.  I come to HBC because my home church doesn’t believe that Christians can have demons.  Thank God I learned know how to fight the real enemy.  I do my own deliverance at home.  I am surviving that way, but the best thing is just coming here.  It’s like Christmas three times a year.  Thank the Lord.

It’s a real blessing for me to be able to come here among true brothers and sisters where I can feel comfortable let people know of my problems and issues. I was just thinking about the series of books you have, “Putting On The Whole Armor of God” and realizing and recognizing via deliverance last night that I have had on a whole armor, but one that was more of Satan than of God for my entire life. I was protecting myself from the anguish that I’ve experienced my entire life, from whatever earlier exposures I was exposed to that kept me in bonds of criticizing and criticism and this has kept me from being able to receive, and as a result, also give love. The safety of being here with guys, first off at the Men’s Deliverance and with you, Pastor Michael, and to be able to addressed things that I could feel inside of my body is a tremendous blessing.  I can experience peace and I can become a changed man and I can experience the love of the Lord and know that it is real and that there is hope for the future for me, for my wife and for our marriage. Thank you, Jesus.

I’d just like to praise the Lord for all of the deliverance I received this weekend and I praise God for all of the men who prayed for me.  I would like to especially praise the Lord for my wife and for all of her prayers.  I couldn’t have made it without her.  Also, for giving us this opportunity, as everyone else has said, to fellowship with like-minded people and talking to men of God and getting inspiration from them. That opportunity is so critical.  Praise the Lord.

I would like to thank the Lord for my salvation and His healing power.  I just thank God for this church.  I have been talking to me daughter about the Deliverance Ministry and she kept telling me that Christians can’t have demons.I thank God for being able to talk her into coming.  I had been talking to her for a couple of years about coming here and she just wouldn’t come.  I talked to her and her fiancé and they just told me, “oh saints cannot have demons and blah, blah, blah, this, that and the other.”  So she went to India with him on a missionary trip and when she came back she realized that Christians could have demons and so then she was really anxious to get here.  So I’m sure we will see her here again here.  I just thank and praise God for that.

Although I have been attending the HBC workshops and receiving prayer for several years and have received a tremendous amount help in many areas of my life, there was still one huge problem I was still struggling with.  I have been driven by evil spirits of rejection for years.  For as long as I can remember these spirits have always affected my personality and the way I interact with others.  I felt driven to the point of being out of control.  Sometimes I even felt possessed, like I had no control of what was going to come out of my mouth next.  I found this to be entertaining and started to believe that this was ME and my unique personality.  I was driving people away and didn’t even realize it.  I was rude and crude and would say the most cutting remarks to whomever.  I thought this was funny.  I did it in the name of being honest and open about my opinion, never considering the other person’s feelings.  If they didn’t like it, it was their problem, not mine.  I was getting worse and worse.  By the time I got to the April 2008 workshop, I had reached a new level in my insanity.  I felt that I was so bad off in this foolishness, that deliverance couldn’t even help.  My husband wanted to fast before our trip to Hegewisch but I had no desire. I felt hopeless and didn’t even care.  I had accepted that this was the way I was, and this was the way I was always going to be.
 
I received prayer that Thursday and Friday night like I had done for the past eight years, but Saturday was different.  While Brother John Gougen was preaching, I felt myself growing increasingly agitated with him.  He had never done anything to make me feel this way toward him, but I was feeling like I hated his guts.  I was imagining myself running to the pulpit and punching his lights out. I knew this had to be demonic, but I couldn’t shake this feeling.  By the time we took a dinner break, my demons were all on the surface and ready to blow. My friends tried to bind them up at the restaurant but nothing seemed to help.  My demons were off to the races.
 
When we got back to the church for Mass Deliverance,I was taken over.  I could not stop talking to the person next to me while she was trying to concentrate on saying the renunciation prayers.  She finally looked at me and started calling out the demons that were in me.  Nonetheless, they weren’t budging.  I felt myself starting to zero in on the Pastor and felt the need to hurt him.  A few other ladies came to aide in praying for me. While they were praying, my husband joined in on praying for me too. 

Finally Pastor John came and joined in.  As soon as I heard his voice, the demons in me went berserk. They reacted in an outburst of violence and profanity; I’m not sure how many men and women it took to restrain me.  The demons cussed and fought and fought.  As the workers continued praying for me, the Agape Love of the Lord Jesus Christ flowed from them and into me, and the demons grew weaker and weaker.  Pastor Mike, Pastor John, Pastor James,my husband, and some of the ladies took turns leading the prayer for me, never letting the demons rest.  There was no rest for the wicked.  The Love was so powerful that the demons started to give up their fight and started to leave.  I started coughing and crying and feeling them leave.
 
When one set left, another set came to the surface and the workers were taking turns in attacking. This went on and on for maybe two hours.  I was delivered from lots or rejection and hurt, deep hurt, and an array of other evil spirits.
 
I don’t feel driven any more.  I’m at peace in my body, soul and spirit, something I’ve never experienced in my entire life.  The Lord has set me free from the spirits that used to drive me and torment others through me.  I need tons more deliverance but I’m thankful for the relief I received from years and years of torment.
 
It has been almost 3 months now and I’m still enjoying the peace and relief from those evil spirits.  Thank You Jesus for HBC and the workers who are willing and ready to lay down their lives to set the captives free.

From confessions of sins and crying out to the Lord, last night was my night.  I would just like to give praise to Jesus Christ.  Thanks to the people who answer the call, it’s all Jesus, but it takes people to answer the call.  I appreciate the people the people who were willing to pray for me.  I thank God for this church.

I thank the Lord for allowing my family to be able to come up again.  I thank him for his love, grace and mercy; and all he’s done in our lives.  I thank him for the deliverance I received last night.  I thank the Lord because there is so much junk in us and for setting me free.  I just thank God for where else can you talk and deliverance and spirits.  The world doesn’t mind saying what it is, but it doesn’t want to do anything about it.  We’re here to get rid of them.  I thank God for allowing me to bring my children to this environment because they don’t have anything like this.  It’s a struggle for our family to receive it.  You have half that want to serve the Lord and the other half that don’t.  There is division.  God said he was going to bring division but it is a hurting process.  Please pray for us in Ohio.

We’ve been led through different states and teachings.  It was a blessing to be delivered.   Having that experience I’ve had a different attitude and behaviors.  I was also able to pray for someone too.  I’m thankful that I can be an instrument.  Thank you for having your doors open.

What happened to me last night, I was not expecting because I had gotten so bad that I didn’t think deliverance could help me.  I know that sounds crazy.  I just thank the Lord and I wasn’t expecting it.  I feel so good right now.  I feel a peace I haven’t felt in a while.  I just want to say that I know that it’s hard for you guys, but keep it up.  I know you’re under attack.  It will be worth it all in the end.  I just thank the Lord that I am clothed and in my right mind.  The perseverance last night was amazing.  That’s what broke it because it’s not easy.  Thank you Jesus.

Thank the Lord for saving me and keeping me.  The last few months have a struggle for me and my wife.  She’s pregnant, praise God for that.  She’s suffered for the first trimester and I needed to get to Hegewisch.  Yesterday I thought I have to get to the mass deliverance.  I thank the Lord for prayer and the men who prayed for me.  Every prayer was on target and I thank God for this place, not the building, the people.

I want to give the Lord praise for what he has done and the fellowship.  I’ve suffered from a lot of rejection.  I never wanted people close to me.  It gets difficult to allow people in.  I just give the Lord the praise for breaking down those walls because now when I am around people and they get close, it’s not so bad.  I give Him praise.

I got deliverance from self-rejection and lots of fear came out last night.  I have a problem with allowing myself to trust people and am overcoming it.

I wanted to thank God for my wife’s deliverance.   It was like a relay team, one person after another and how it got started.  Even when you’ve lost all hope and think you’re not going to get help, God is there to arrange and bring the deliverance forth.  I praise the Lord for my wife and daughter’s deliverance.

I want to thank God for the Lord Jesus Christ and that his ways are not our ways.  I was listening to Win’s tapes and you can hear the tears in his eyes, saying, “If we don’t care, whose going to care?”  When I go back to my church and the Lord shows you the bondage the church is in, if we don’t care, who’s going to care?  If I would just get out of the way and let God be my all and all, it’s just amazing.  Sometimes he’s trying to bless me and I’m fighting him tooth and nail.  When I look back and think Lord if I could just get out of the way let you be God, because his ways are so wonderful.

It’s good to be free.  Praise the Lord for being faithful.  When I’m faithless, he’s faithful.  It is so encouraging.  Friday I got some good prayer and help from spirits of death from exposing Islam.  Whenever they say “death to America,” those curses are coming against us.  I’ve felt attacks of death.  I got some good deliverance and then last night some impatience and some Jewish family line curses.  I just thank the Lord for the freedom we have in Christ.  Thanks to Pastor Mike for letting me share God’s Word.

I want to thank God for giving my wife and me the opportunity to come to the workshop.  I want to thank God for the protection on Friday the Lord gave.  I was driving and a car pulled out and I had all I could with the Lord and angels and was not involved in a very serious accident.  I’m blowing my horn and this guy continues to pull out across traffic.  I had to go into the other lane and avoid him at the same time.  The Lord will reveal in heaven how many angels were there to disallow this from happening.  My wife recognized the situation and was thankful she didn’t drive that morning because it may have been a different situation.

Coming up before the workshop my wife said maybe we should fast, because we get attacked at every workshop.  We went on a fast.  I said, “One meal.”  And she said we were not going to eat anything.  I said what about water and she said no water.  We were on a straight out fast.  We listened to some Win Worley tapes and got some good deliverance and it made it easier for us to receive deliverance during Saturday night live.
 

I would like to invite you to our 83rd Workshop this April.  Our Workshops are designed to maximize the teachings of Spiritual Warfare.  We also make/take the time to pray one on one for those seeking or needing deliverance from evil spirits.  Exposing the works of darkness will also be on the front burner.

Scripture tells us in 1 John 5:19 that the whole world lieth in wickedness.  The whole world is being cradled to sleep by Satan.  And so is the Church.  It is tragic to see how much of the world and the world’s system has infiltrated the body of Christ.  Error, false doctrine and a lackadaisical attitude towards the things of God are running rampant in the church and all around us.

Creation shows the Power of God.  Its evidence is everywhere.  Trees grow leaves, flowers bloom and the sun rises in the East and sets in the West, Amen?  Creation worships God in all that it is suppose to do.  Why not US?  Why does man have such a difficult time doing what God created us to do?  Why is it so difficult to serve Jesus Christ with our whole heart? Why is it that when we determine to do the “right thing” we have so many obstacles and distractions before us?  Why is it when we determine to fast, the Saltine Cracker that has been sitting on our kitchen table for 6 months turns into a T-Bone steak?  It’s because we are at WAR!  We are at war with spiritual forces that we can’t see, touch, smell, hear or feel.  These evil forces are doing all they can to hinder, distract, deceive or destroy us.  24/7/365!   They do this in our homes, on our jobs and in our personal relationship with Jesus. 

Demons and their doctrines have permeated all facets of our lives, right down to the churches we go to.  Why are Satan and his henchmen talked about so little in the church?  How can we as believers ever recognize his wiles or tactics if we aren’t taught who or what they are?  We are told in the Word of God that if the trumpet gives an uncertain sound, how can we prepare ourselves for battle?  “What battle?” most would say.  How tragic!

Satan’s main focus is to get our eyes off of Jesus Christ.  Satan doesn’t care if he uses good things or bad.  As long as we look to the world and man’s ways for our help, we will never be able to grow into the men and women of God that He wants us to be.  Sure, we’ll be church going, choir singing, Sunday school attending individuals.  But we’ll be left with no remedy to get the Adversary and his demons off our backs.

Deliverance isn’t the whole answer.  But it is an IMPORTANT part of the answer.  Have you been fighting the Principalities and Powers in the heavens that are trying to destroy you and your family?  Are you talking back to the devil?  Are you standing up against the “Bully”, Satan?  Jesus did!  In Luke 4, when Christ stood up against Satan and rebuked him, the devil fled from him.  Brothers and Sisters, that story was left in the Scripture for us to use against Satan.

If you turn the flyer over, you will see that along with me, John Goguen and James Mobley will be speaking.  In addition, Jay Peterson, who hasn’t been able to join us for the past couple of years, will be with us also, PTL! Join us or rejoin us this April to learn or relearn how to battle our strongest foe.  This ministry STILL works when applied correctly in our lives!

I had a lot of problems within my life. The Lord led me to a bookstore where I found a booklet by Pastor Worley. I called the church number at the back of the booklet and spoke with another woman. She took the time to listen to me and referred me to several deliverance workers in order to receive prayer. I called one of these workers and told them that I was even willing to pay them to pray for me. They refused the money, but said that if I could get to them then they would pray for me. I did fly out to their home. I received prayer throughout the day and then returned home. As a result, we became friends and are now attending this workshop together. I thank the Lord for the help that I have received. I really needed a lot of it.ManThis has been a great workshop. I thank the Lord for giving me faith. This was one of the worst battles trying to get here. Everything was falling apart. But, we knew that this was a confirmation to come. We knew that this was going to be a great workshop and it has been.WomanI was driving and had a severe nosebleed. I could hardly pray. But, I was able to call on Jesus. I thank the God for the name of Jesus. Twice, I almost got hit head on by a car. I had nowhere to go. I was almost hit by a car a total of four times. Two almost rear ended me. But, I thank God for his great love and mercy. I called upon the name of Jesus and He helped me.Man

Last night, I learned a lot during my daughter’s deliverance. I realized that I was trying to shelter her during prayer. I was trying to protect her in the wrong way. After talking with my wife, I realized that my daughter’s deliverance would help make her a better person and me a better father.

The Lord blessed us to come to the Men’s Conference in January. I was surprised because I am a person who has to see to believe. I am stubborn and stiff-necked. But, the Lord was dealing with me. God is doing awesome things. When deliverance comes into your life, division can also come in your family. It is a spiritual warfare. The devil makes you want to run and leave your family. I wanted to leave, but the Lord led me back to my home.

I am very new to deliverance. I was raised in a Baptist church which taught that Christians could not have demons. I had always believed there were demons, but not inside of Christians. However, recently, my parents talked to me about Christians having demons. I am a person who has to see to believe. I have to do the research myself. But, I procrastinated. My parents continued the pursuit. Finally, we met with a deliverance worker. It was explained to me about wearing a head covering and that the purpose for doing so was not a ritual. When they put the scarf on my head it was like there was a piercing. I didn’t like it because I was submitting and this was against my nature. I am a single mother and have a lot of trouble with my older son. We have been through a lot and yell a lot at each other. One night, after I had had prayer, I noticed that I had a different reaction. My son and I were yelling back and forth. After about two hours, I closed my eyes and started to bind and loose. As I prayed, my son got quiet. When I would go to open my mouth, he would start to scream again. So, I prayed again. I finally realized that I had God’s peace and I didn’t need to be angry. I told my son that “whatever you do I am not going to yell at you.” He hung his head. I told him to look at me. He said he couldn’t pick up his head. I told him that I loved him. My son became quiet, laid down and said, “I love you mom.” I have noticed a change within my son too. He usually has to have everything when we go into the store. We were in the store and he asked for something for which I told him “no.” He said, “maybe another time.” I thank the Lord for what he did for my son and me. I am learning things that I did not know. With the Lord’s knowledge you can grow. It is a blessing to be in the midst of the saints.

We have been looking for fellowship. It is great to be in fellowship with brothers and sisters who are like-minded. After receiving prayer, my own mind and heart feel lighter. I look forward to the next few days and months that lie ahead of me.

Sometimes, I get frustrated when I look at all the help that I need. But, after being in deliverance, I look at the past few years and I am a shadow of that. I used to hate and distrust women. When I came here, I saw some of the ladies who had a real love for me. I wanted that and prayed for it. The Lord is answering these prayers.

WomenAlthough I have been attending the HBC workshops and receiving prayer for several years and have received a tremendous amount help in many areas of my life, there was still one huge problem I was still struggling with.  I have been driven by evil spirits of rejection for years.  For as long as I can remember these spirits have always affected my personality and the way I interact with others.  I felt driven to the point of being out of control.  Sometimes I even felt possessed, like I had no control of what was going to come out of my mouth next.  I found this to be entertaining and started to believe that this was ME and my unique personality.  I was driving people away and didn’t even realize it.  I was rude and crude and would say the most cutting remarks to whomever.  I thought this was funny.  I did it in the name of being honest and open about my opinion, never considering the other person’s feelings.  If they didn’t like it, it was their problem, not mine.  I was getting worse and worse.  By the time I got to the April 2008 workshop, I had reached a new level in my insanity.  I felt that I was so bad off in this foolishness, that deliverance couldn’t even help.  My husband wanted to fast before our trip to Hegewisch but I had no desire. I felt hopeless and didn’t even care.  I had accepted that this was the way I was, and this was the way I was always going to be.
 
I received prayer that Thursday and Friday night like I had done for the past eight years, but Saturday was different.  While Brother John Gougen was preaching, I felt myself growing increasingly agitated with him.  He had never done anything to make me feel this way toward him, but I was feeling like I hated his guts.  I was imagining myself running to the pulpit and punching his lights out. I knew this had to be demonic, but I couldn’t shake this feeling.  By the time we took a dinner break, my demons were all on the surface and ready to blow. My friends tried to bind them up at the restaurant but nothing seemed to help.  My demons were off to the races.
 
When we got back to the church for Mass Deliverance,I was taken over.  I could not stop talking to the person next to me while she was trying to concentrate on saying the renunciation prayers.  She finally looked at me and started calling out the demons that were in me.  Nonetheless, they weren’t budging.  I felt myself starting to zero in on the Pastor and felt the need to hurt him.  A few other ladies came to aide in praying for me. While they were praying, my husband joined in on praying for me too.

Have you noticed that time is being sped up? Have you seen how Satan and his minions are being glorified on TV, in the movies and in print? Have you been able to discern the lateness of the hour? Are you ready for the Lord’s return?

How would you feel if Jesus were to return today? If the Kingdom of God needed your assistance, would you answer ‘here am I Lord’, or would you say, ‘please may I be excused?��? These are serious questions that require serious thought. However, I would venture to say that most believers are not waiting on Jesus’ return. The shallowness that is being passed off as Christianity today has put a great many brethren to sleep.

Where do we start? The fragmented soul? Sins/Iniquities of the fathers? Curses and their effect on Christians? Demons being inside of believers? Where is the church’s answer to such problems? Dr. Do Good, Brother Big Head, Sisters Sweetness? Phooey! And even if we could spot these seducers operating on the inside of our church walls, it is Satan and his henchmen (demons) that are the real culprits. Will we know what to do or how to correctly pray when the time comes? Here’s the rub brothers and sisters, that time is already upon us.

We hear about this program and that program being the answer to our problems. And sometimes these programs can illuminate issues in our lives. But before we can get to the answers, we first have to understand what the problem is. Amen? I’m not talking about the symptoms such as anger, hatred, malice, depression, rejection etc. The problem is SIN! Sin opens the doors of our lives todemons. When Cain killed his brother Abel, God offered him mercy. God told him a demon is crouching at his door wanting to come in because of this sin. But Cain didn’t have to let it in. Nonetheless, Cain turned down God’s offer. God has been offering this same mercy to us today.

Let’s take advantage of God’s mercy and grace while it is still day. John 9:4 tells that we must do works of Him that has called us while it is still day, because the nighttime is coming when no man will be able to work.

Get reacquainted with this wonderful ministry. Don’t listen to the pundits. Don’t listen to those who say, ‘I tried that, it doesn’t work’. WHAT IS JESUS SAYING TO YOUR HEART? That’s all that matters.
