DO WE HEAR WHAT WE SING?

We sing “Bind Us Together”,
and let the smallest difference divide us apart.

We sing “He’s An Answering God”,
and never ask.

We sing “Sweet Hour of Prayer”,
but in essence, we want just a little talk with Jesus.

We sing “Oh, for a Thousand Tongues We Sing”,
and misuse the one we have.

We sing “We’re Marching to Zion”,
but sleep when He calls.

We sing “I Love to Tell the Story”,
yet never share the good news with anyone.

We sing “There Shall Be Showers of Blessing”,
yet put an umbrella up so we won’t get wet.

We sing “Cast All Your Cares Upon Jesus”,
and 9-1-1 is the closest number on our phone.

We sing “He’s All I Need”,
and then depend upon VISA and MASTER CHARGE

We sing “Because He Lives,
and live as though He doesn’t.

We sing “His Name is Wonderful”,
but deny Him by our silence.
