Workshop Badges will be required for Friday morning through Saturday night. Thursday evening & Sunday morning will be regular services. There will be NO Sunday evening service. Deliverance will be ministered Thursday and Friday Evening, Saturday evening and Sunday morning only. Fathers: Leadership sessions are planned for individuals mature enough to participate in the studies. We will be in the House of the Lord so please wear appropriated attire. Those inappropriately dressed will be dismissed from the workshop.

WELCOME LETTER FROM THE PASTOR
Men of God,
Not only are we at the end of 2009, but we are closing out this decade also. Where has the time gone? It seems like it was just yesterday that Y2K or 9-11 happened. Of course, ‘time being sped up’ is an end-time prophecy. So, could we be that far down the road? Is it possible for mankind to be so close to the end of time as we know it? I think so. I believe it to be possible. If this is true, are you ready? Have you been preparing? Even if you are a pre-tribulation believer, scripture tells us that prior to the Saints being taken out; they will go through difficult times. Do you know that the Hosts of Hell play a prominent part in the end times? As do the Saints of God. If the Lord was calling you into battle against the demonic forces that have captured so many today, would you know what to do?
Brothers, there is no amount of words, no hyperbole, nor definitions stressed to exclaim the lateness of the hour. Without revival, without repentance, without deliverance to help those that have been bound by the evil one, our nation is lost. Multiplied thousands in the church are bound in pornography, drugs, alcohol, promiscuity, heartbreak, etc with no where to turn. The bible says, “cursed is the man who trusts in man, and trusts in flesh and blood for his answers” (Jer 17:5). Where are the Men of God to stand in the gap for God’s people.
Demons can not be counseled out. They can not be reasoned with. To have any effect on them, you must command them to come out in Jesus name. This is the only thing they fear; the name of Jesus. Attack them. Let them know who you are and that you’re not going to take their curses lying down.
As I mentioned in HBC’s last Leadership Conference letter, I would like to personally invite you to our Men’s Leadership Conference the 21st – 24th of January, 2010. For the brethren at HBC, this is the frosting on the cake concerning our four major Workshops we host a year. Men too, need intimate fellowship, and this is how our Men’s Conference is designed. Even though we have an “extraordinary” and sometimes loud ministry, the M\C is a very casual low key event. The relaxed atmosphere (leave your coat and tie at home) helps the Men to let their “guard” down, thus allowing the Holy Spirit easier access to us. The Friday night and Saturday night meals are catered into the Church so that we have as little broken fellowship as possible. If you haven’t been to one of our M\C why not come this January and check us out.

HBC will provide a shuttle to and from the Inn of Hammond (Formerly Amerihost). We have a block of rooms set aside at the Amerihost. Mention Hegewisch Baptist Church for discount rate. Rates may not include tax and may be subject to change. The Inn of Hammond (Formerly Amerihost) is located on Indianapolis Blvd. off of I-94 and is a 5-minute drive to the church. To avoid disappointment, make room reservations no later than 3 – 4 weeks prior to the workshop.
Transportation to and from the airport, Greyhound Bus or commuter trains is not provided by HBC. Housing in private homes is not available. Please do not come expecting “free” accommodations.
