Workshop badges will be required Friday morning through Saturday night. Thursday evening & Sunday morning will be open regular services. There will be NO Sunday evening service. Deliverance will be ministered Thursday, Friday & Saturday evening and Sunday morning. Parents: Workshop sessions are planned for individuals mature enough to participate in the studies. We will be in the House of the Lord, so please wear appropriate attire. Those inappropriately dressed will be dismissed from the workshop.

WORKSHOP WELCOME LETTER
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
It is our earnest hope and prayer that you are growing daily in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
As always, we’d like to offer glory, honor and praise to our Heavenly Father and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, By the Providence God and by His renewed daily mercies in our lives, we are able to host our 91st Deliverance Workshop October 22-25, 2009.
In Exodus 14, we are told the story of God speaking to Moses concerning the Exodus of His children from Egypt. God gave Moses a clear and specific route that would end up taking His children to the very edge of the red sea. The Promised Land was just a short distance away from there. However, what God didn’t tell Moses or His children, was that once they arrived at the Red Sea, they were going to face a tremendous challenge. In reality, God was going to test the obedience/faith level of His children. We know the instrument used to measure their faith was Pharaoh and his army. We also know that for the most part, they failed the test.
In like fashion, the church of Jesus Christ is finding itself in the same basic predicament. The Watchman of true Christianity have either fallen asleep, or worse, made friends with the devil. Satan’s Host of Hell have been allowed to nibble away at the foundation of the church, and the moral fabric of our country for decades with little or no opposition. The church stood mute year after year while Satan’s seeds of deception were being sowed. Now, Satan has accomplished one of his greatest coups. Officially, good is being called evil, and evil is being called good. The very foundations for our physical lives have been turned upside down. Judgment is turned away backwards. The criminal has more rights than the law abiding citizen. Justice (doing & standing for the right thing) is standing afar of, screaming and crying, “here I am”, “look at me”, and the church ignorantly sleeps on. What has happened to Truth? Where is the truth today? IT HAS FALLEN IN THE STREETS! Truth IS the foundation of the Church. So, in trying to keep everyone pleased, (except God of course), the church has compromised itself and kicked truth out, replacing it with good. In fact, good has now been abandoned for the cheap trinket called “what’s acceptable”.
Satan has been allowed to spread this evil in the church because the church knows nothing of real Spiritual Warfare. When was the last time you heard the leadership of your church, or your favorite radio preacher rebuke the devil? Jesus had no problem addressing the devil. Neither did Michael the Arc Angel. They rebuked him, verbally. They didn’t speak about the devil, they spoke to the devil…and told us to do likewise.
I would like to personally invite you to our October Workshop. We will be teaching and demonstrating that the best way to get Satan behind you, IS TO TELL HIM. The Word of God is loaded with scripture after scripture giving us instructions and direction in how to do this. Come join us so we can fight the Adversary together.

HBC will provide a shuttle to and from the Inn of Hammond. We have a block of rooms set aside at the Inn of Hammond. Mention the Hegewisch Baptist Church for discount rate. Rates may not include tax and may be subject to change. The Inn of Hammond is located on Indianapolis Blvd. off I-94 and is a 5-minute drive to the church. To avoid disappointment, make room reservations no later than 3 – 4 weeks prior to the workshop.
Transportation to and from the airport, Greyhound Bus or commuter trains is not provided by HBC. Housing in private homes is not available. Please do not come expecting “free” accommodations.
